  • (4) 2" x 4" x 6' Lumber

Jig For Composite Fencing
Skill Level: Beginner
  1. Purpose
    This jig is used for speeding up the assembly of composite fencing panels.
  2. Cut 2 x 4's
    Cut the 2 x 4's to 67-3/4"
  3. Attach the 2 x 4's to the plywood

  4. Panel assembly setup
    Now that your jig is assembled lay it down on a flat sturdy surface.
  5. Assemble the panel
    Lay 3 Backer Rails with 2 x 4 inserts on the jig as shown in the preious diagram. Attach the pickets to the Backer rail per the normal composite fencing assembly instructions. Note: To keep the backer rails from moving while attaching the pickets you can clamp the backer rails to the 2 x 4's on each end. Be sure to keep clamp jaws below the the top surface of the backer rails so it will not interfere with with the assembly of the panel.
