3' 3-Rail Fence
Setup for a 3' 3-Rail fence.
  1. Materials Needed
    2x4x67-3/4" composite sleeves 3
    4x4x78" composite sleeves 1 (cut in half) per panel(+ a half per fence end)
    Mounting bracket sets 6 total or 3 pairs (sold by the pair)
    Post Cap 1 (per 4 X 4 sleeve)
    AC2 treated 2x4x6' 3
    AC2 treated 4x4x6' post 1 per panel (+ 1 at fence end)
  2. Cutting Materials
    Cut 1 - 78" 4X4 post sleeve in half each piece will be 3' 3" long.
  3. 2 X 4 Sleeve Assembly
    Cut 3 - 2 X 4's and 2 X 4 sleeves to 67 ¾" (For 72" O.C. post spacing) Slide the 2 X 4 sleeves over the 2 X 4 boards until the ends are flush, these will be your backer rails.
  4. Attaching Brackets
    Attach brackets to each end of the backer rails.
  5. Assembling the 3' Rail Fence
    Measuring from the top of the 3'-3" post sleeve attach the top rail 4" down from the top of the post sleeve to the top edge of the rail. Measuring from the top of the 3'-3" post sleeve attach the middle rail 18" down from the top of the post sleeve to the top edge of the rail. Measuring from the top of the 3'-3" post sleeve attach the bottom rail 32" down from the top of the post sleeve to the top edge of the rail. Using a level check that the rails are level between the 3'-3" & 6'-6" posts.
